hi ther having same problems as flash 100 but im on vista what settings do i need to change any help would be great its doing my nut in cheers
As per the link I gave above you can change your Comm port settings for your USB in device manager. Presuming you loaded the Vista driver for the adapter. The Device Manager can also be accessed from My Computer the same way it was in XP. Right click My Computer, and select Manage. Then, from the Computer Management window, select Device Manager.
Yes I know but if you look through the link you would see a link to divers for USB adapters http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/663923#4033225
ok brill i got a bit further know i got it to start but it says waiting for reciever to responed? any ideas
And you are using a null modem cable AND USB adapter combination? Have you set your USB comm port anywhere between 1 and 4?
Its definitely a TX? What firmware are you using? Just about time to hit the hay so better make it quick on this one
what do you mean a tx? Can you email me tommorrow and i will explain everything i am doing and you can hopefully point me in the correct direction. nite nite
A TX is a Eurovox TX and you are in a Eurovox TX thread, so hence my query. Catch up tomorrow at some stage.
what i am doing is connecting the usb end to the laptop (com1) the null cable to the box, power is connected to the box box on stanby, then i click download, then propted by start button press this, then it says boot mode com1 to 4 select com1 and it says waiting for reciever ive tried everything? helpppppppp please
hi turns out i have checked everything i took the top off the box and the reciever connection wasnt on correctly re connected and found all the channels, Thanks for all your advise a very happy pittney
Well done When you say it wasnt connecting do you mean the null modem cable was loose or the serial connector?
sorry got caught up in the excitement of fixing it. I was trying to re load software cause it couldnt find any channels and thought this would help i still cant get it to load software but it has found channels on autoscan so all is good.
