Eurovox Update for Ireland

ok...really strange...I just got home and all of the channels are back working again...without doing any update to firmware or software.

The moral of the story appears to be don't poweroff the Eurovox box.

I just want to say big thanks to seoirse and vardrus for patience with a newbie...cheers.

 

where or who on ebay would you recommend to purchase a eurovox of.

Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks

 

For what its worth I patched the image as per above on two of these in the last couple of days and it resolved the updating code problem for definite. It will still come up now and again but either wait (1/2 minutes tops) or switch to another channel and all will be well
Coming from a dbox I think these little boxes are just brilliant for the basic but important stuff.

Hi Does anybody have a link to download the DnUpman program without having to subscribe to some bogus website?? I have a eurovox red which is in bad need of an upgrade, I got the update file but unfortunately dont have the DnUpman program or cable yet, is there much to it or is it rocket science?????

I am sure you have got the program at this stage but I got mine originally from the eurovox yahoo forum.Do a search using yahoo as opposed to Google.

Can anyone help? - Our Eurvox isn't working except for a few stations RTE, etc... it normally updates itself - is there a general problem or would this be relate to the box we have?

 

Do an autoscan not a power scan and everything should be allright.

Please remove your email address by using the edit button as it is against forum rules.

If you want to send a pm to seoirse go to the op of the screen where it says compose private message and type/paste his/her name in the box and creat your pm and post it.

Not at all Could you just delete your email addy in your first post as it will keep spammers away from you.

 

Go to the bar at the top of the post in question, on the right hand side is a little notepad icon, click on that, delete your email addy, and click the SAVE CHANGES button.

found the edit button... it was in the same place as the pm button.

Codes have not changed but frequencies have.

All you have to do is a re scan
N*L have changed frequencys not codes
Go to user installation put in password 1004 go ok
press red button and wait for scan
That should be it
