    Hi all,
Anybody know if there's any sort of HD/hdmi version of this/these types of boxes going to be available soon?
A mate says he sees Sky HD is listed but I assume over scart it's just SD?

    Cheers..
Also, I only have Broadband from Virgin (NTL).
Cable comes in and goes into a box by computer. A cable comes out of that and goes into the modem. This box has another output - labelled 'FM'.
To use the Eurovox I understand I have to split the signal. Do I split the cable before the afformentioned box (i.e. as it comes into the house - near the TV as it happens..) or split the cable that comes out of it. Then one goes to the modem and the other to the Eurovox..

hi, you have to split it from where it comes in on the splitter there should be something written in so you put the blcak wire that comes from outside there and the white wire that eventually goes to the modem in the other ones.
    i hope this helps

    Thanks.

So you're saying I cut into the cable coming into my house BEFORE it reaches the NTL box that goes into the modem? option 2 below. Option 1 wouldn't work?

I am thinking of getting the Eurovox Max V 2008.
I live in Dublin & have the NTL basic digital pack.
Will I have to disconnect this box to use the Eurovox?
Also, I reckon I will be able to get it for around €180 delivered from U.K. with software installed & a RS232 cable.
Anybody know if it can be gotten cheaper.

    Thanks in advance.

Will I have to disconnect this box to use the Eurovox? Yes , but you can use it in a different room other than your main living room (i.e. bedroom etc )Also, I reckon I will be able to get it for around €180 delivered from U.K. with software installed & a RS232 cable.
Anybody know if it can be gotten cheaper. I dont think so

Cheers Celtic for your quick & informative response.
The missus will be glad about moving the NTL box as she was asking if we could get a 2nd one.
The €180 is assuming I have the patience to wait around on e-bay a bit & not just jump on the 1st one available.

TBH I am thinking Eurovox only as a mate has an older one & thinks it's the business.
I don't know alot about PVR's or if Dreambox (whatever version) or any other types would be better.
The reason I am getting one is so I can watch a bit of premiership & NFL (American Football) without having to pay a €60 p.m. subscription.

Dont know your nearest supplier but as they have not been cloned yet I would say fleabay is a safe enough bet.

I presume by that you meant ebay - but I would rather do it without having to pay via the internet. I was told by someone they thought there was a supplier in Wallasey. Thanks for now.
