Ok guys name 5 or so of your favorite bands? And music you cant stand also. Its the weekend lets have fun with this one. Mine are in order. Led Zeppelin.Black Sabbath,UFO,Dream Theater,Tool...music i cant stand is ..no pop,no rap,no hip hop,no country..no way.
Black Sabbath,Motorhead,Judas Priest,Megadeth and AC/DC are tops on my list. Many other late 70's early 80's bands as well. No country or top 40 here [bold]Rap Sucks[/bold]
green day...a SMART punk band that decided instead of playing in tiny clubs to poor ugly loser punks, why not take our music to the masses so millions can enjoy our music. so if Green Day is posers, then would bands like Operation Ivy, the Ramones, AFI, and all them be the same? Punks are so stupid with their mentality...go mainstream and you're a sellout poser.
Nirvana will always be no. 1 in my book Creed (don't shot me) Metallica Green Day Jimmy Eat World No Country for me.
greenday sucks nowadays if ya wanna hear greenday buy the album dookie!!! i like alter bridge&creed....i hate rap
you don't like real bands like Green Day, yet you listen to crappy ass Christian Rock like Alter Bridge/Creed? Go away and keep reading your bible
Actually I have all of Green Day's cds - Dookie got me hooked. I have liked them for years- new album included.
I think their new album is phenominal. I get so pissed when everyone compares it to Dookie though. Yes, Dookie is a great record, just like the ones in between like Insomniac and Nimrod, (Warning not included). Judge each album for what it is, but don't compare it to previous albums! American Idiot deserves its Grammy and deserves the amount of attention it has recevied and hopefully new fans as well.
@djscoop I agree with your statement. Judge each album. I like the way Green Days albums/talents have progressed. I feel the same way about Nirvana - yes Nevermind broke the mold and started a new trend in music but the last one In Utero was fantastic.
Iron Maiden,DIO,Twisted Sister,WASP,Grim Reaper and how did I forget Ozzy,I saw him with Randy Rhoades one of the best guitar players I have ever seen. [bold]Live and Loud[/bold] I have seen them all!
Yeah wild Iron Maiden being one of my favs. too Powerslave what a great album with the song ..Rime Of The Ancient Mariner 13 plus mintues long.check out the new dvd maiden relesed late last year Iron Maiden The Early Years, great stuff. Yeah we all miss Randy great guitar player.but Jake E. Lee did a pretty good job following up Randy. but liked i liked Jakes follow up band after he left Ozzy called Badland they released a couple great albums. another guitar player i miss is Criss Olvia of Savatage R.I.P.great band.

Nephilim ..iam sure you like Danzing, Black Flag , Misfits ..too right.since you had Samhain ..on there
Yep, Black Flag's a great band that I forgot to mention along with Husker Du, Meatmen and Tool. I like Danzig too but unlike most Glen Danzig fans I never cared for Misfits much. Samhain was my favorite part of his career with "November Coming Fire" being my favorite
Pink Floyd for me, at least before Roger Waters split. The last couple hasn't been nearly as good without his writing and direction. Their music seems timeless. Some of their songs I have been listening to for 35 years or more and still enjoy them.
