EVOX and GTA : SA problems

Just throwing in what worked for me:

First, this box is not a 1.6, however since it doesn't belong to me and I don't feel like looking at the serial number, I don't know the exact model . Running an Evox 3935 dash and I believe an Evox m8 Bios. He said he rented the game (cough), so I guess this is the actual retail version.

Game Region: North America (NTSC) <----only this mattered!
In Game Reset: Yes
TSR: Normal

It seems like it was only the Game Region that mattered for me/him. The trainer works fine too (I tested it, and infinite health definitely went through lol). So, try setting the Game Region to North America and see where it gets you!

 

I had the same problem where the game would constantly reset back to the EVOX dash. This patch fixed the problem for me. All you have to do is replace the default.xbe file with this one.
