hey i just installed my new wd200 gig hdd but it only says 129, i know the cap is keeping it under 137 but i am wondering why is it doing this? I thought the m7 bios allowed bigger hdd's ?

how do i make it read the extra 70 gigs ?

i flashed the 4983 bios then formatted the hdd and rebuilt it with c: from the slayer disk.

i am not sure how to make it detect more hdd space.

well the 4983bios did the trick

hey anyone know why is takes longer to boot the xbox to the dashboard ? is it because of the larger hdd ?

Actually everything take longer to load, like using emulators or programs take 3 times as long to load them as it did before. All i did was install a bigger hdd at 7200 rpm and then put all my stuff back on the hdd.
