OK wait to see if there's a similar fix for the 8%, maybe the same problem as the OP.

Please guys no more hijacking the OP thread, thanks for the CDF all the same. :)

    System overload, sorry about this.

Help appreciated but I'm going to go all quiet on this whilst I poke about for a bit.

Either the box is broken or there is something behind it going wrong prior to the 'other issues'. It does look like, apart from not finding channels, that everything else is 'right'. My worst guess could be the providers have left the 'old' transponders on with the 'old' symbol rate and moved the real broadcast stuff elsewhere.

    All very James Bond.

I'd be quite happy with the terrestrial 5 but someone decided to go digital so people had to put Jodrell Bank on the roof and still miss out on Channel 5.

Sigh, apologies for the negativity. Later, maybe.

    Thanks again.

As said before did you have the 8% signal fix previous the new firmware dated 01/12/08. Seems to be a few across the forum suffering from the same issue.

8% signal fix was dated 28/04/08
original Max V firmware was 18/04/08.
