i looked at config but i cant find anything that will seem to turn on the "archive" feature - and it found quite a bit, wish i could delete them on those other programs...will do.
yah i tryed it in safe mode and on the cc cleaner - i installed it and tryed opening it but i get - run time error '429': active x component cant create object hm and is it just me or is the xoftspy link dead "connection refused attempting clickbank.net" edit: i found it, it was the advertisement keeping me from running it, its the free scan right? but on the cc cleaner i dont know whats up
What code is it asking for? try downloading from their site http://www.xoftspy.com/ and see if that helps any. Also, go to this site about the error http://www.pptxtreme.com/help/effects_library/RuntimeError429ActiveXComponentCantCreateObject.html
i got the xoftspy working and ran it. found a worm, a data miner, and adware - removed this - nothing came up under adpower7 gonna try cc shredder in safe mode any word on the anti vir not being able to delete within my archives- i really wish i could delete what it found it pulled up, there were nearly a thousand threats muchos gracis, yall
RESOLUTION The Microsoft® Scripting Runtime must be installed from the Microsoft® Windows Script components. The Microsoft® Windows Script components are installed by a self-extracting EXE. Please download and install the Microsoft® Windows Script Installer at the following Microsoft® Web site: should i install this, cause i cant even find where to uninstall cc shredder. not in my remove programs or in my start menu this could be bad though - with all of microsofts security flaws
yah i ran the anti vir in safe mode, normal at first off the installation - and im not sure where they were found... i know a lot of cosecutive ones were found in a c/uploads folder and right as i was going to delete them, thats when it said virus/ or unwanted prgrams found in archive - infected files in archive will not be removed or deletd
Go to My Computer - your hard drive - Program Files - AVPersonal - INFECTED, see if anything is in that folder. Also, look in TEMP folder
you know what my system restore might have been turned on there nothing under temp, under infected theres one file winupdate.VIR
should i try findin the cc foler if theres one and deleting - whats the best way to delete it if i cant find the uninstall
Darn uninstaller for CC was in the c programs folder, so I uninstalled and I'm going to try running that in safe mode And I got the XoftSpy working - didnt find anything with 7adpower but it found a few things - deleted them. someone else recommended to me, Ewido Security & Acronis Privacy Expert Suite...is anyone familiar with these programs
Under the Confifuguration / Action If File Not Repaired - "deny access to file" is checked by default - you think "delete concerning file" should be checked, and be the reason i cant delete within the archives? also on the Repair tab under reported files - Activate Repair isnt checked. (dont know if itshould be) Im not sure how to config the settings :/
That could be why it's not deleting within its archives. I guess you can try that and see what it does. I'm not sure about Activate Repair.
