Exe. File Wont Delete - ???

    this wont suffer any changes to my comp - in a bad way will it?

    okay cc worked in safe mode. i analyezed and ran cleaner...

    i havent ran the anti vir; im worried about it just finding random things and deleting them - when it shouldnt - under the config "delete concerning file" option

    how do i do that... i just scnanned and ran cleaner - fixed issues is asking me to save to registry or soemthing

    don't save as i don't & keep scanning & fixing til it comes up with no more issues

    to delete active x's you could use stuff like Norton Systemworks or Ashampoo Winoptimizer but to do it manually, open up internet explorer, click on tools, then internet options,then settings, then view objects and delete the ones you don't know.

    alright ill try that, man my comp seems to be running slower

    pages seem to take longer to load

    i also ran that ewido virus scanner - hope it didnt do anything

    did you ever got to delete that .exe file?

    i did, but it led to a series of crap on my computer. but you kow what after all these tools - it seems to be good again.

    i think the reason it was running slow was cause i wiped all my interent cache and system stuff basically i think the history from my comp...so i think it needed a while of me browsing around and visisting some pages - but yeah i think its good now.

    its actually running better than before i downloaded and installed tha exe file. someone recommended i run hijackthis - not sure how good it is on detecting major threats

    on a side note: is anyone familiar with Acronis Privacy Expert Suite? (a friends friend of mine installed this on my computer but im not sure if its any good)

    Glad to see that everything's running good now. I've never heard of Acronis Privacy Expert Suite so I don't know if it's good or not.
