You need to get rid of your email address, it is not allowed, plus it could do you more harm than good..........spam.

I had that same error, I think I resolved it by using the automatic install that is available somewhere.....I will look for it, and get back to you, if someone doesn't first.

This is probably a really dumb question but I see a lot of ppl talking about CCE SP 2.50 and 2.70. Are they using the trial vs? I can't imagine them spending $1950 for SP. I have CCE basic and use it for 99% of my backups. Am I missing something or are ppl really buying SP?

    thanks arniebear

things seem to be working, however i will wait till everything is finished and i try the dvd in my player before i stop worrying. i have version 2.70 however in rebuilder it does not give the CCE option for this version and i was unaware which one to use (i guess that shows you how much i know). i had this setup first and went through the whole process but when it finished the file finished it was only 1.9 gigs. i burned this to see what was going on and everything was there except the video. menus played, even DD5.1 audio played just no video. on the screen it said error, no MPEG2source or something to that effect so i went back to 2.50.

i will let you know when it finishes and i test it. again, thanks for the help, hope it works this time.

Guess you guys haven't seen the link lately. Rebuilder has it's own website, at least a link anyway. LOL The site has all one needs for Rebuilder. http://www.dvd-rb.com/ The installer program set's up eclCCE as necessary if the CCE version used calls for it. All the user has to do is Install Avisynth (the site has the right version to use) and CCCE of that is the choice of encoders. Also available is the free HC encoder that rivals CCE. Pro has some nice bells and whistles not in the free version, but the freeware version gets the job done. If you're going to set up RB, you need to visit the RB site.

    @chartwel

It looks a lot like the disc you are trying is a series disc... if that is true you really shouldn't use "Steal Space"...

I second the motion. The installer is pretty well polished. It even loads avisynth now.
I highly recommend paying a few measly dollars for the pro version.

Jeez, they're taking out all the fun. Remember back when RB was like the "Psychobilly Cadillac", one piece at a time? ;) Just kidding. They really have turned RB into a user friendly app.

=>> load this iso of yours into daemon tools

and next time try vobblanker for removing certain segments instead of shrink

Or use DVD Decrypter in File Mode, and yes, then use VOBBlanker as UncasMS_3 mentioned.

Unfortunately I am experiencing an odd problem with my cce...

when I click the cct2.exe file to open the cce basic gui, my computer for some odd reason will not open the gui. It doesnt even give any sort of error message or anything...my processor goes through the process it usually does when opening an executable and ill get the little hourglass and my cpu activity lights will blink to show the cpu is working...but then after a few seconds it just stops like its done opening the app but theres nothing in front of me...no gui...nothing. Its real strange...could you help me out possibly, has this ever happened to anyone before?

also this is post-install btw...ive already installed the basic version that i purchased. Just nothing initializes when I open it...

    thanks

Your install is likely faulty. You didn't give much info but even a bad install usually gets past the prepare stage. If you haven't already, delete the original setup and try the installer version.

If you would like help then give more information about what you you've done, what you're doing and what you're trying to do. Include a copy of your INI file.

A quick question. If I have a purchased version of CCE, am I still going to need the Eccle?

Or can I just select the Regular .EXE file in the
    C:\Program Files\Custom Technology folder?

    Thanks

EclCCE isn't needed with the later versions of CCE, trial or retail.

    1. Your targetsectors variable is way too high... where did you get that number? You are much better off to simply delete that line completely. Stay with the default and you will save yourself a lot of headaches.

    2. What size is the original disc?

    3. What version of CCE are you using?
