DX5 ... I didn't see your system specs, but I have a P4 - 2.66 GHz and my average encode time is about 3 to 3-1/2 hours. RB also has a batch mode, so I usually set up 2 or 3 movies and go to work, or go to bed. IT's finished when I return.

Since your actually rencoding the whole movie the time can be long . But its power dependant. A 3hr movie on 1 3ghz P4 should be in the 3 hrs range.
My slower dual AMDs are similar.
If I run RBfarm it gets down to an hour encode with 4 PCs.
It about 20% slower than DVDshrink on high quality.

In order to use the trial version os CCE SP with RB you'll need to do a couple of extra setup steps such as installing eclcce. Us the AD guide for using the trial version.

Start fresh with CCE SP installed. Clear the working folder. Double check the source and working folder paths.

I'm sure this is an easy answer but I've been having difficulty finding one.

After I use DVD-RB the video_ts folder is too large to burn to a dvd-r, 4.39 GB (4,716,206,080 bytes), so nero won't burn it.

I changed the following in my rebuilder.ini file in hopes of reducing the size but it remainied the same:
    from CCETargetSectors=2260000
    to CCETargetSectors=2100000

I've upgraded to v0.58 and am using CCE SP 2.67.00.27.

The following is from my DVD-RB log:
    - Reduction Level for DVD-5: 59.8%
    - Overall Bitrate : 2,428Kbs
    - Space for Video : 4,135,718KB
    - HIGH/LOW/AVERAGE Cell Bitrates: 3,025/100/2,428 Kbs

    Any thoughts?
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks sophocles.
dvd-rb is cruncing now and the logs look a bit different now:
    - Reduction Level for DVD-5: 55.2%
    - Overall Bitrate : 2,240Kbs
    - Space for Video : 3,815,718KB
    - HIGH/LOW/AVERAGE Cell Bitrates: 2,789/100/2,240 Kbs

    hello,

I finally succeeded in making function DVD rebuilder beginning with the end thanks to your councils and the tutorial of Vurbal.

My actual software configuration is as follows: dvd rebuilder the 0.58 CCE SP trial 2.50 eclcce 1.81.

That never could function with the CEC sp trial 2.67.00.27 and the CEC BASIC 2.69.

Unfortunately the repertory of destination is higher than 4.7 go and when I launch the copy of my DVD with my video reader when I launch film via the menu I see a black screen with the logo Cinema Kraft encoder.

But I advance it is the main thing

    Regards

There's a flaw in RB .58, jdobbs quickly fixed it and then released RB .59 which should fix the over sizing problem.

Now I use DVDRB 0.59 but destination folder is too big (8.69 Go) the source is only 6.93 Go. And I cannot read my backup, it's a black screen with red lines + a logo with 'Cinema Craft Encoder'

    I don't understand why !

The destination file will be large because it also contains the D2VAVS folder which you no longer need. Open the destination folder and look for the VIDEO_TS folder, that's the one that contains final movie. It's also the only one you'll be burning. Right click on it and you should have a file aroujd 4.32 gigs.
