6402....you should get an email from where ever your paypal account is set up. Is it possible you have more than one email acct. and it could've been set up in another one?

I would be glad to email it to you if jdobbs OK's it first. :>)

    [bold]from rebuilder v64 summary/changes:[/bold]

Added support for DGDECODE.DLL. This is a newer, more accurate, and faster version of MPEG3DEC3DG.DLL. In order to use it, download DGMPGDec from "decoders" on downloads section - DGMPGDec 1012a - (the only required portion of the .ZIP file is DGDECODE.DLL. You must point to the file from DVD-RB's "Setup" dialog. The MPEG2DEC3 path area name has been changed to "DECODER". NOTE: In order to use DGDECODE.DLL you MUST point to it in the DECODER area of the setup dialog and it must not be renamed (from DGDECODE.DLL). DVD-RB will default to MPEG2DEC3DG.DLL. Hats off to Neuron2 (Donald Graft) who is an MPEG Maestro.

    - Removed the "Add to AVS" checkbox from the setup screen. It was a source of confusion and probably should never have been implemented. If you enter a path in the "Path to Decoder" box -- it will be loaded in every AVS file.

    - Created a new option under the "Mode" menu that allows you to use a different "Output" path. When selected, the output of VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders will be sent to that path rather than the "Working Path." This allows users who are low on drive space and have more than one drive to write to two different areas. It also cleans the output up a little -- reducing confusion as to which directories should be burned. You burn only what is in the output directory. If may also increase the rebuild speed. If the option is deselected, DVD-RB will work as it always has -- writing all output to the "Working Path."

    - Fixed an error in "Batch" mode in which some parameters from the saved .RDB file were being loaded and set incorrectly.

[bold]this from jdobbs concerning new v65.[/bold]
I've completed distribution of the newest DVD-RB version. I used a VIP list I'd created based upon addresses reported by PayPal and e-mail addresses I've built over time. Unfortunately I received "bounce-back" on several of the contributors. If you feel you should have received a copy of the new version but didn't -- please drop me a PM and provide an e-mail address.

I take it that, being new changes were made the DVD-RB guide will be updated?

    Donald

I got my email with .65 early yesterday. Contact Vurbal and give him the address that you paid through and he can run it by jdobbs.

And what's wrong with DareDevil? Can you think of a more difficult test?

I think the only thing "wrong" with it would be having to watch it once again ... although it might be a good test. Let us know what happens. I tried my daughter's "There's Something About Mary" with 21 ILVU's and it hung on Phase II (posted above).

    Doc

I did "Something About Mary," without any trouble of any kind.

I do understand not wanting to watch DareDevil again (although I think that bigo is addicted to it) but it caused enough of a ruckus during the summer and ultimately lead me to Remake. If RB .65 can get through DareDevil then its a major update.

Sophocles...did you edit "Something" in Remake first before sending it through? This worked for me also. But it isn't working just sending an unedited Decrypter file through.

I can't really remember what I did because it's been a while but I don't remember having any difficulty backing it up at all.

    What difficulties are you experiencing?

I'm going to buy "Something About Mary" and give it a test.

    @64026402

I had some bouncebacks on people who contributed. If you provide me your e-mail I'll get you fixed up.

@ jdobbs ... I posted the exact error messages I got above. The movie is now backed up via Remake, and so there is no rush. I realize this is still beta software, and I so I thought this info would be useful. If I can supply any other info, please advise.

Congrats on all the recent and very nice improvements.

(@Sophocles...the errors are above. I got an error message from the get-go when starting Phase II)

Given that RB/CCE take several hours to do their job, any chance you could add a "system shutdown on completion" option? P.S. I made my donation about an hour ago :)

jacota, thanx for the info, that clears up a couple of questions i had.

    Also, on this improvement,

[bold]output of VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders will be sent to that path rather than the "Working Path." This allows users who are low on drive space and have more than one drive to write to two different areas. It also cleans the output up a little -- reducing confusion as to which directories should be burned[/bold]

One of the advantages of using Nero Express to burn is it will automatically choose the correct files, even if you add all of RB's finished files.

This is a good improvement tho, it should speed the process up by using 2 drives :>)

Sorry Doc, I did it with an older version of RB some time ago, and if you say its got a problem then I believe you which means I probably edited it with remake. I just don't remember it being DareDevil hard.

    I'll run Matrix through tonight.
    Thanks jdobbs.

Thanks for the new version. Unfortunately though my company email paranoia filter didn't like it ie
    FILE QUARANTINED
    ----------------
Antigen for Exchange removed dvd-rbv065.zip->rebuilder.exe since it
was found to match the FILE FILTER= unnamed:*.exe file filter.

I understand your security concerns, but is there any other way I can get the file? Downloading earlier versions has not been blocked this way.

You could just get the email at home and bring it in on disk. Are you backing up DVDs at work?

Thats what I did. No, I am not doing it at work. I just use the faster download times of my work ISP setup (and its email facilities) so that I can do other things at home (like ripping and transcoding)

P.S. hence the reason for the "system shutdown on completion" option. That way I could start it going before I left for work and it would be ready for burning when I arrived home.

The email is very small so I don't figure download should be a problem even on a modem.

I agree, it was just more convenient to send the money from my work PC. Where the work setup is an advantage is on those 100MB software tryout packages or the latest version of Nero or whatever. Lets not get too far off topic!
