    What kind of file are you putting through RB? And, what version of AviSynth are you using ... 2.5.[bold]?[/bold]

    im sorry that was the wrong set up somehow dvd rebuilder reverted to old locations of the following,
    here is my new setup.

    CCEBasic=C:\Program Files\DVD Tools\Cinema Craft Encoder Basic\cct2.exe

    MPEG2DEC=C:\Program Files\DVD Tools\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\DGDecode.dll


    i still keep gettin the same #0003 buffer overflow error

    i am using Cinema Craft Encoder Basic version 2.69.1.4
    and AviSynth 2.5

    i was trying to back up harry potter 2 for my nephew, i told him how i got this supposidly great software and i could burn him a dvd.....so far no luck with RB

    i think i need spell check...heh.....but seriously though i do need help figuring out this buffer overflow problem

    IF anyone could help me figure this out it would be appreciated greatly!!

    sadly, i have a visual basic exam in like 40 mins so i have to go...i will check back later if anyone has any ideas to fix my #0003 error

    The type of error you reported is often a result of improper setup. Buffer overflow suggests your system has difficulty keeping up with the rate of transfer. When was the last time you defragmented your hard disk?

    So after everyone's help I've got things running smoothly. I'm actually redoing a lot of my dvd2one backups with DVD-RB because they just look so much better. Thanks for all your help sophocles!

    i guess im gonna defragment my computer now, so ill be back after thats done, might be a while!

    I used to get this error a lot, but it went away after I made a few changes. And, it hasn't apeared in some time with newer versions of RB. If defragging doesn't work, I would suggest re-installing AviSynth 2.5.4, as well as the latest version of CCE Basic. If this doesn't work, a reformat and fresh install is probably the next best solution.

    i defragmented my computer but i still get the same old error, buffer overflow #0003, this time at 11.4% of rebuild phase.

    i wish i could fix this..?

    my cce version is a patched version of cce basic, not purchased, i didnt want to buy it till i got this thing working and witnessed the quality it brings.

    i reinstalled avisynth but still not luck on fixing the problem.

    After i installed it i clicked rebuild, i didnt start from step 1.

    could my video card have anything to do with this buffer overflow error??? #0003

    Try using a different DVD and an unedited Decrypter file. Also, if all you did was defrag, you still need to reinstall the programs mentioned above. This process only works if you try what is suggested, and when you do, you need to let us know.
