    Keep us posted. If you succeed, jdobbs probably won't need to modify his rebuilder to incorporate the 2.67 format.

    I finaly ended the test, took a long while this way.
    The end result is a correct dvd folder size.
    I would like to see a some kind of improvement since this way is not that nice to work with.
    It means staying here watching the screen and clicking some buttons every 6 minutes.

    jdobbs: you may have brain cramp but i feel more like having finger cramp at the moment :).

    I've tested DVD-RB with SP version 2.67.00.11 (the newest I have) and it works fine... I'm wondering if it could be something that has changed in one of the recent minor changes...

    I'd say it has to be very recent since I think everyone I've seen reporting this problem was using 2.67.00.27

    Alright, this is a really annoying problem. I just started using rebuilder and ccesp 2.67. I take out the movie only using dvd shrink and no compression, then run it through rebuilder. I followed the guide on this site and the doom9 site and everytime I try to shrink down xmen 2 from 6gb, it gives me a folder that totals 2.79 gb. I even specified CCETargetSectors to be 2260000 in the rebuilder.ini file. Any idea what's up?

    Check your target sectors?

    Yeah, I checked my target sectors. I guess this is the same problem p200002 is having. So there's no fix? Here's a copy of my ini file:

    [Options]
    CCETargetSectors=2260000
    LoadPlugin=1
    RemoveDTS=1
    EncoderMinimized=1
    AudioDub=0
    CCE=1
    Completed=2
    idct7Opt=1
    OneClick=1
    BackColor=14737632
    [Setup]
    Languages=*lots of 1s and 0s*
    [CCEOptions]
    VBR_bias=25
    Quality_prec=16
    eclPasses=3

    Change your target size from 2260000 to 4300000 and save.

    Make a back up of the original.

    vurbal is right. My CCE-SP version is 2.67.00.27.

    holyc0w: in the previous pages, jdobbs said it is because of different ecl format used by the new version. Let's wait for him to fix the problem.

    Perhaps but it would have been fun to see if it worked.

    I just got a trial copy of 2.67.00.27 and I can see the "Save ECL" bug. I think this may be something that has to be corrected in ECLCCE and not DVD-RB. I have no way of contacting RB (the Author of ECLCCE) until Doom9's forum comes back up.

    I would suggest to all that they go back to a version no higher than 2.67.00.11 until this gets worked out.

    Better yet, if you are working with trial versions, dig deep and put out the $58 to buy CCE Basic. It's the most powerful, feature rich encoder on the planet, they deserve the income. Just for the record, I have no affiliation with Cinemacraft...

    I have to say that I've never used CCE-SP, I bought CCE Basic at the start.

    I also bought CCE Basic from the start. I've found that learning curves and troubleshooting can be time-consuming, and so I went with the $58 if for no other reason than to avoid the headaches of two learning curves.

    As it turned out, my Basic installation was A-OK from the git-go. The instructions were great.
