    @jdobbs

    Any luck with D2 of Spiderman 2 SE, I'm interested to hear how it turned out. (How many passes, and DVD-RB settings, Quality Precision etc.)

    I have a question about setting the quality prec and bias in DVD/RB 0.69. I'm using CCE SP 2.66!
    Mine is set to: quality prec 16,VBR bias 25, 2 pass
    AVG bitrate 3.700 kb/s
    When i made a backup of TROY movie only in the fight scenes there is a litle noise around the objects! If i set higher value for quality prec...maybe 28 should this problem dissapear???
    And can somebady tell me quality prec value, that turns out to be the best for LOTR ROTK, please ?????

    Tried to use DVD-Rebuild for the first time could not get it to encode. I have matched up all the settings according to the guide. I installed Cinema Craft Encoder SP (CCE) v2.70.02.00 Trial. Under Options set to CCE Trial. Under patch CCE New pointed to the Eclcce.exe
    Tried to execute the Eclcce and point it toward the CCE executable and it does not support this version of CCE.
    Is there a later version of EcLcce or a older version of CCE SP Trial I can use.

    DVD-RB 0.74
    (CCE) v2.70.02.00 Trial
    EclCCE 1.81

    @blimpe

    Point directly to the CCE executable. ECLCCE isn't needed with CCE v2.70. But I think there may have been a report of that version halting waiting for a prompt sometimes .... try it and see what happens.

    Jerry77 posted something interesting, I do remember that for the latest version of CCE the precision settings had to be changed. What are the recommended settings for 2.70+ & versions before that again? -_-

    Quality Prec for SP 2.70 is 16 in RB, but the setting is very forgiving. I've used settings to 24 and the results were excellent.

    Did you use the installer by Rockas with v 0.74?

    I installed v 0.74 with CCE SP V 2.7.02.00 with no problems without the need EclCCE

    A buffer overrun is difficult to analyse and the fixes for it have varied. Defragging the hard disk has worked, an error in setup has caused this, and most recently I've even heard of a virus that can cause it. My advice is to start your setup from scratch and defrag your hard disk and then try again. A buffer overrun means that something in the transfer data isn't keeping up.

    I'm curiuos what are your PC specs?

    A donation for development. Look under the HELP menu for "Make a Donation." You will be added to the VIP list and will be mailed a link to a personalized copy of the latest version every time one is released.
