    @Ppower & dlc2000

    I found the error. It was variable initialization error. It caused Movie-Only mode to fail during REBUILD on any source where the main movie is not found in VTS_01. I'm amazed I didn't catch this before I sent it out...

    You should get an update notice with a link to the fixed version later today.

    I'm having a little problem. The other day I set up 5 Rebuilder projects to do a batch encode. So far out of the 4 I tried to burn 2 had errors in Nero saying DVD file allocation failed. I'm not sure if this is because of Rebuilder but I've never seen it before. I'm using Rebuilder 0.86 Pro. I know there is a new one, but I haven't tried that one yet. Any ideas?

    Well, I got the error on the fifth movie, but I browsed through a couple of them and the 2 I went through all seemed fine, so either it never really was a problem in the first place or IFOEdit fixed them.

    @squizzle

    There are some know issues with Nero flagging errors that aren't really there -- just burn it.

    Here's an example: If you have an original commercial DVD that has a zero length VTS (no, there is no logic to it, but yes they exist) DVD Rebuilder goes to extremes to make the backup match it as close as possible, so it creates the zero length file in the output directory. Nero will see the zero length file and kick out an error.

    Yeah, I kinda figured that. Thanks. Nero does get goofy sometimes. So are you saying I shouldn't have to fix the errors with IFOEdit?

    I wouldn't. IFOEdit is a fantastic tool, but sometimes it can be wrong too. Example: Have it create an IFO from a set of DVDs for you. Then run it against itself ("Get VTS Sectors") -- if finds errors in its own output.

    Don't get me wrong though, I'd never trash IFOEdit. It is a tool that I have on my desktop and use every day. It's just that no software is perfect.

    Has anyone backed up Darkness with 0.87aPro movie mode. I've tried it twice both times getting outputs of only 2.88Gb

    What is the size of the original? Are you attempting movie-only or regular backup?

    hey i just got a little question. Im using cce basic 2.67 and am going 2 upgrade to the newest verison. would there be a quality difference in the picture when i upgrade versions of cce. Like say if someone was using 2.67 verson of cce sp and some one else was using cce 2.7 sp would the 2.7 one have better quality or is there just random bug fixes with the new one also it probably would have faster speed right??

    I'm sure people here will be interested in this unless they already know. CCE Basic is up to 2.70.01.02. Probably already widely known, but I just found out.

    Hello everybody. I'm new here. I have been reading all your posts and I followed instructions on installing DVD REbuilder and Cinema Craft Encoder. I used dvd decrypter to decrypt the movie to my HD. Then I opened DVD-Rb and configured according to instructions I found on this forums. After all is set I hit the "Backup DVD" button. DVD-Rb stars working. It does the Phase I and when it goes to start the phase II it gives me the following error "ERROR: File v01000000001001 shows completed, but no .m2v file exists. Aborted"

    I'm using Cinema Craft Encoder SP 2.50.01.00 / DVD Rebuilder v0.84 and Avisinth 2.5.5.0

    Would anyone be so kind as to help me with this problem?

    @GMA77

    Could you please look into something for me in the REBUILDER.INF file (found in the D2VAVS directory within the working path)? You can use wordpad or notepad to open it. Look for a heading called "[V01000000001001]", a few lines beneath it there will be a line that starts with "Frames=" (there are many of these lines, so make sure its the one beneath that heading) -- I'd like to know that number that follows it.

    Thanks,
    jdobbs

    Thanks for your replied.
    Since I also have CCE Basic I configured it in DVD-RB.

    Here is what I have now isntall:

    - Versions:
    -- CCE Basic Version: 2.69.1.4
    -- DECODER Version: 1.0.1.0
    -- AVISYNTH Version: 2.5.5.0

    I'm doing a backup now with this configuration. DVD-RB is in Phase I.
    I'll let you know if I get the same error or diferent or not error at all.
