External DVD Drive To TV

    Has anyone tried connecting a plain USB DVD drive to a TV? Does it work for playing movies? I have been browsing through plenty of different reviews and so far I understand that they are mostly made for laptops but surely it should work with a newer TV as well?

    it works just fine.connect your external drive to the tv via the usb connection.
