external hard drive problems help

    i need to know how to format it so i can transfer movies from pc to ps3. The hard drive i am using is out ov my ps3.

    Plug it into your computer, and click Format.

    yeah but it reads it as a disk drive and not a usb drive.and the ps3 wont read it. i need to format it to fat32 but dont know how..
