External Hard Drive Worry

    hii guys i hav a Maxtor Personal Storage 3200 300 GB and wonder if i will lose all my data if power suddenly cuts off when im using the exxternal hard drive like for Djing

    PLZZ Help me i need to know bout this

    well, it shouldn't but you never know what can corrupt a drive. Your best bet if you are really worried is a power backup unit. This kicks in when the power goes out and gives you enough time to shut everything down correctly.

    ya even if the power cuts out its unlikly you'll lose all your data. ive had the plug knocked outa the wall on mine mid file transfer and everything was fine when i turned it back on. just back up the must keep files somewhere you'll know they will be safe.
