hi to all its been a long time when i try to record nothing happens the only thing that comes up on the screen is when i touch file list it says usb storage is not ready i don't have a clue what i need to do to be able to record the ardrive is a Samsung m3 portable usb 3.0 1tb thanks for any help
has the drive been formatted,and are you using a powered external hdd,some boxes do not like just usb alone.
Should work for you, but as cactikid said, you need to correctly format it first. There is a set of instructions on the blademedia site that will tell you exactly how to format the drive. (scroll to bottom of the page) http://blademedia.tv/bm7000ssupport.html#instructions I have a similar setup on mine were the drive is only powered by the USB and workes perfectly.
