I know how to change the rom drive out but how does the black plastic front end come off so i can put it on the new drive? i don't want to break it so could someone please tell me how to take it off!! TY
It slides upwards.. There are 2 tabs on the ends that click into small recesses. It's pretty strong. With the tray open and the drive upside down it should become clear how it works. To fit it to the replacement just reverse the procedure and slide the end down from above until it goes click..
