factory reset bad channels*

if i do a factory reset, do i have to then reboot through my pc, or disc, as i didnt recieve anything to do this

 

no, you just have to run the installation again and then turn on the emu. and it should be fine. you would need the software and cable if you want to upgrade the software on the box.

 

ive done all tha is said in forums but cant get e4, living, sky sport1 or 2, and a few others are coming up scrambled or bad channel, can you please help

 

you could try downloading a channel dump file for the area you are in and flash the ox with it. this ight sort out the problem. you could also try deleting the scrambled channels and do a manual scan with network scan this has worked for me in the past.

 

i dont have a pc or disc to flash the box, do u have a list of the channels, ie tv5=bbc1, will try deleting and rescan thanks

 

you can download the software from the forums including the channel dumps. you would need a null modem cable to flash the box. you can buy one of these from maplins or any good computer shop.

 

what deos s/w transfer mean

 

with this function you can transfer software from another starview box using the null modem cable

 

where can i fnd a channel dump file to download i dont no much about computers
