    somehow I can not flash the sv/kryptview box's, I have downloaded the software and when I click on download nothing happens. I have connected up the cables via usb converter,also tried two different laptops, is there anyone out there that is willing to run through this with me.
    Please.

    My box failed to flash on the first four attempts,then got the 100% needed no idea why it did that as I flashed a box last week on the first go.

    If you are using USB Adaptors coupled with a NULL MODEM lead, then that is what is causing your problems, so have a look here at these links with regards to the correct assigning of the COMM port. >>>

    http://www.freewebs.com/starview-update/

    http://www.freewebs.com/boxsuper/

    And if the problem still persists, then delete the firmware off your PC and download another, it does sometimes get corrupt.

    when you say you did step by step what Malci told you ...are you sure you have the correct cable..its not the one that came with the box, it looks the same but is wired differently, have a look here:

    desb; I have deleted the files numerous times and reloaded, done this on another laptop as well and all failed. The cable came with the box from iwantabox. The laptop I have is one day old.

    Desb;
    (1) plug the cable into the back of the box and into the pc.
    (2) plug the box into the mains and turn it on.
    (3) double click gtrom loading software
    (4) click on the download button
    And that it, nothing futher than that, I also have digivox and its the same result although with different steps.
