Using a Pioneer 16x DVD ROM drive I can't playback any DVDs and the reason is always that they are copyright protected, can anyone help? I have tried using Windows DVD player, PowerDVD, WINDVD. etc and none of them work!!!

You can try DVD Region-Free at http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm

It allows you to watch all region DVDs on any DVD drive( especially RPC2 ) even if it has been locked.

You don't need flash firmware which is sometimes dangerous, useless or unavailable.
