Faulty Motherboard??

    do you have the floppy & ide cables plugged in right & not reversed as in pin 1 to pin 1 instead of pin40 for ide??

    ok, according to your picture, the cables are connected to the drives properly & is keyed on the connectors so can't put in reverse. i would still like to see a picture of the cpu heatsink fan assembly mounted onto your motherboard as might be a heat problem. is the square power connector from the psu connected to the motherboard, it is the 2 yellow wires & 2 black wires?
