Hi, Does anyone know how to take a Avi or DivX video to write to a DVD using FFDSHOW? Really new to learning how to change DivX to a format for writing to a DVD. Also is this program the one to use to change Avi as well as DivX,so it is able to be writing to a DVD. I have seen the guide and an looking for a 1 to 2 step process. I don't want to be a film maker,What is the best and fastest program? I am also NOT a Millionaire so cost is a factor. FREEWARE would be perfect as well as a TRIAL program. Thanks in advance.

i've encoded with ffdshow, but never mpeg2. cause vdub can't handle mpeg container. try QuEnc 0.59 beta2 by Nic i think its really good and its free. better than tmpgenc in speed and quality, don't know how tmpgenc3 compares though and try HCEnc free for now. its still in early beta, and if things go well the creator may want to make something out of it tmpgenc is kinda free, mpeg2 encoding is free for 30 days.
