I recently downloaded the movie old school and cant seem to figure out what type of file it is. It will only play with VLC player and thats it. How can i find out the type? Also is there a program that will let me change aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3?

To see what the extention type is open up the folder your file is in then click on tools then click on folder options then click the View tab down the list it will say hide extension for knowen file types. Uncheck the box click on apply and then it should show you what the file extension is.
