files from vista using xp?

    hiya, anyone know of a program to recover files from a corrupt vista hard drive using an xp pc, i have no vista disc and have vital data on the hard drive...

    moved to correct forum as not a windows problem. why not just slave to vista drive to the xp drive?

    Yeah, I would have definitely tried the slave option, before I paid for a program to recover the data. Data is data, for the most part, no matter the OS.
