I just recently installed the latest Mozilla Firefox 1.5 version and all of a sudden there is a grey box at the bottom of the window and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Here is a picture to show what I am talking about, look at the red arrow. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v516/Purple_Robyn/QUESTIONS/firefox_greybox.gif) I never had this before with any other version of Firefox, I believe I updated from version 0.7, but I am not completely sure about that. It is very annoying because I can not see as much as I used to. Can anyone around here please help me? I am desperate and going bonkers! Thanks in advance! Oh and I hope this thread is in the right category I wasn't to sure as to where it went.

try dragging the thing on the bottom right down. Or reinstall the browser.

I have another question. Where are your bookmarks stored? Are bookmarks stored in a file somewhere? If so where? So i can make a backup in case my comp crashes, i can restore the bookmarks. Cause i have so many bookmarks, i would never be able to find them all again.

go to bookmarks, --> manage bookmarks, --> file, --> export, then chose the place where you want to put it.

btw is the grey box gone?
