I bought new camcorder Panasonic NV-MX350B. I don't have any firewire connection. Does anybody knows what would be the best firewire card to buy to start with dv capturing/ editing/ transfering back to mini dv? I am using Adobe Premiere for editing purposses. I already have Hauppauge TV card which I use for analogue video capture.
Thanks for your time spend to answer this. Much appritiated :)

This is very common. Most digital camcorders don't come with the Firewire cable. It is the same problem folks have with printers -- they don't include the needed cables for hooking it up to the computer. Most Firewire cards should work fine and the same is true for the cables.

I suspect most digital camcorders will might include USB or some other cable - if any. Firewire cables are usually expensive to just include. My Canon Optura 20 included the USB but not the Firewire also. Like I said, this is very common.
