Congrats on the first post Praetor ;). I currently have no hifi amps or receivers, though I used to sell them. Hopefully I can make myself somewhat useful in this forum. I'm no audiophile, but I know a lot about the inner workings of audio equipment, so hopefully I'll be able to field basic questions about stuff. If the audiophilic people start talking about shit that costs more than my house I'll just get out of the way ;P.

I'm currently looking for a receiver and possible alternatives include SONY STR-DB2000 with rewarded "S-Master technology". Any experience with this particular product or Sony receivers in general?
