I just purchased a liteon dvd burner. When I tried to burn my dvd it said it may have copy protection. I have read through some threads to gain info. So does dvd decryptor allow me to rip the dvd to my hard drive? My burner came with the sonic dvd creator also. I would just like to know what software I need to create a dvd. Preferrably free. I would like to be a able to put it all on one disc too. I am completely new to this and I have question that I am sure is dumb but I have two discs, one is dvd+r and dvd-r. I don't know the difference. Thanks to whoever wants to help.

first of all download dvd shrink(free)
    then dvd decrypter(free)

    both are rippers

dvd shrink will rip/compress the dvd for you

    dvd decrypter will burn it

dvd decrypter is sometimes used to rip difficult dvd that shrink cant rip.

basically the most common way of copying a movie is to first of all compress/rip with shrink...burn with dvd decrypter

search the forums for guides on how to use them
its very easy once you know how

    with kind regards hursty
