Just finished my first rebuilder session and am happy with the result.

Ripped with DVDX then removed all menus, extras, subs and other langs with TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6. Film went from 7Gb+ down to 5.8Gb's

    With Rebuilder-

    CCE SP 6.27.00.27 retail
    VBR Passes 5
    VBR_Bias 85
    Quality Prec 32

Question- though I was happy with result was this the best way to use Rebuilder? Also would using the Big 4 tools give even better quality?

    thx

You sound uncertain! RB is best described as a set of instructions that direct other applications to maximize the quality of DVD backups. If you can find a better method then you should use it and then share it with the rest of us. I'm always open to improvement. If you're happy with RB and you would like validation of your results then I second the motion. RB is flexible and uses other encoders as well as CCE and they all seem to render satisfactory results with free encoders/transcoders to excellent results using CCE and Procoder.
