First timer needs help.

I downloaded Resident Evil 2 for PC from BitTorrent. I have NO IDEA of how to actually play the game. I have searched the forums and found some helpful info, but I still feel blind. If someone could help me by laying out what I need to do(as if you were talking to a retarded ape) I would be forever grateful. Also, I need to know of some free burning software to use (Nero type stuff). I know you need it, but have no idea how to use it.

 

are you trying to play it on a ps1 or ps2 or computer or what ?

 

It's a PC game so I'll play it on my computer
