FIXING FRIENDS COMPUTER. NEED HELP???

Been offline awhile glad to see other stepped in to help love AD ppl here are so helpful. I hope things are goin ok before you hand that mobo back to original owners install spywareblaster and spyware guardian available for free at http://www.javacoolsoftware.com that will give them some added protection along with avg which I see you intend to install my favorite for sure. I need to check out powerleap.com hadn't heard of that site someone mentioned it....keep us posted

I just wanted to let you all know I finished fixing the PC...

I couldn't find the source of the errors poppin up soo i just did a clean format and started again.

What I did was format it then i had problems with gettin the pc too boot properly and then i wnet to google and found a boot disk for Windows 98 and then after i did that i had to partition the drive again and reformat cause it told me too so i did...

Then I got into Windows 98 Setup and again had trouble with the CD Key, which was really weird cause my win98 CD is an original and i again went back to google and found the key that coresponded with my ligit copy of Win 98, which i found really wierd and funny at the same time...

After that it was all good until i had to find the graphic card drivers which again i found using trusty old google and installed that and then i was sweet all the way with the rest...

The thing that suprised me was how small the hard drive was with it have nothin on... It was a 8gig hard drive which i found really small...

Anywayz thanxs to all of you guys for helpin me out and especally [bold]ddp[/bold] with the suggestion of the [bold]Everest[/bold] program....
