flash update fail

    I have tried updating my starview box to 257e using usb to 9pin adapter. when i load the update file in gtrom loader the download screen appears but does not move from 0%, then a screen appears which says "flash update fail".

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    It wont work with the usb u gotta use the serial cable.
