I seem to have a problem with my floppy drive: it simply won't read them nor will it format them. This is the error I get when I try to format a floppy:

The type of the file system is RAW.
The new file system is FAT.
    Verifying 1.44M
Invalid media or Track 0 bad - disk unusable.

Now, I've used these disks in the past and they are indeed 1.44 capacity. Googling has been fruitless so I hope the gurus here can help. Thanks for reading.

i own like 3 floppy drives none work and i get a similar error as you. keep in mind that windows dosent detect rather or not you have a drive installed or not and will always show the drive there so i suggest looking for loose wiring. they usually wear out pretty fast its probaly easier and maybee even the same price if not cheaper to get a flash drive
