Floppy Drive problem with ASUS P4C800 Deluxe

    I have an ASUS P4C800 Deluxe mb and i have tried two different floppy drives with no luck. I have been reading online that a lot of people have this probelm but there arent any clear fixes. If anyone has had and fixed this problem or has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

    The computer recognizes the floppy drive and says it is working properly. the light to the floppy drive is on, but whenever a floppy is inserted it doesnt detect and says "Insert Flppy into A: Drive"

    is the light on all the time if so than floppy cable is reversed
