@ porkroll, I only use milk & margarine, in delicate amounts, you have to keep testing to get it right though. I add a pinch of salt to the water as the spuds are cooking. You know they are ready to mash when they break up in the water fairly easily with a fork. Also the water gets like a whitish layer to it, that is the carbohydrates (I think) coming to the surface. Then you go at full tilt with the kenwood. Then you add milk & marg, continue to whisk, keep testing the taste & adding the milk & marg a bit at a time. This can take up to 10mins. It takes time but it is worth it. They really do melt in your mouth. You have to get them ready to eat immediately. DON'T let them stand or re-heat. I don't like cheese, & I don't add anything else. I just love the taste of the spuds on their own. Good food does not need lots of spices, herbs etc. I like my steaks the same way. If it works here is a pic of my PC set up...... http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=8/21419095594.jpg&s=x1 Pulsar
"Hooters" chicken wings with a tall cold glass of beer..there are only a few things better in life lol.
Just tried something last night that might give the wings a run for their money, Crawfish Primavera. That's good eating, think i may go back for more tonight lol.
I never went to hooters. Why does people love it? IS the food that good or something. What kind of food do they sell?
Hot Wings has to be one of my favorites. I had hooters double dip the 911 wings once. I swear I was farting blood that day.
- I love lasagna. - Steaks (grilled, medium well) with baked potato, and fresh steamed broccoli - Fired chicken, candied yams, macaroni and cheese, homemade dinner rolls, collard greens, potato salad and sweet potato pie with some iced sweet tea O.k.....gotta logout now, gettin' hungry.
I live in a college town so the Hooters here is like the 8th world wonder of the world or something lol. What a great restaraunt, girls in short shorts and tight shirts..beer..girls..I think they serve food or something.
