I love footy... I even used to play when i was younger, i was a right back... The World Cup is coming, The Champions League is going, The Premiership is given... Any other leagues are welcome as well...
In here we talk, eat, drink, sleep and discuss the footy game.

    CHELSEA
Any arguments relating to them, i'm into it... Other clubs will take my views... ;)

Arsenal are in trouble... Wenger should think about retirement... Same with Fergie...

No Eto'o and Ronaldinho does make a difference to Barca.

Also there was a sort of Barca Chelsea game at the ACN when Cameroon (Eto'o) played Ivory Coast (Drogba). IVory won 13 - 12 on pens.

Although i am a staunch Arsenal fan i do agree that chelsea have run away with the premiership this year. As for Mr Mourinho and Chelsea, i think anyone could of won the premiership last year especially after all the money that our obramovich has thrown at the club since he has been there.

The Ivory Coast are in the ACN final. They will face either hosts Egypt or Senegal.

I'm a Gunner and have to admit this year is/was very frustrating. But we'll come around I'm sure of that. Look at all the young players in the squad. Give us a year or two and Chelski won't be able to figure out what hit them.

I agree dr_no. Losing Vieira has screwed us real bad.

Arsenal is doing a bad campaign, next year they won't even make the CL!
Man Utd had it... I like Ronaldo tough! I feel sorry for Giggsy, you can see he can't keep up with the speed of the game... Rio in the middle? Hummm... Sounds promising so far! If he keeps going like that, Keane will be forgotten...

As for Chelsea... Yea, they do have the millions... But let's be honest here, where are the super stars? Where are the Ronaldinhos, the Decos, the Kakas, the Rooneys, the Becks... Every team has got them... Chelsea has the same they had before: Lampard and Terry... banagher said that any manager would get the title with that money... Ranieri, (god bless him after all), bought a lot of stars with that money (Veron, Mutu etc...), and they done nothing... Mourinho came in, got the revolution on the road, sacked half a team(!) and went after the hard working, ambitious players... And another thing is that when Chelsea are out there looking to buy a player, the price tag reads:
To Chelsea: X amount on millions of pounds on top of the regular price.
    To everyone else:The regular price...
No wonder Chelsea had over -£100 million balance...

LOL, I have to agree with you there Permiggs. Chelsea do spend over the odds for players. Take Drogba. Marseille bought him for £2 million and sold him for £25 million. His real value should of been about £10 million.

The problem with Ranieri was he tinkered too much. Mourinho uses practically the same team for every match except he rotates the midfield. Where as Ranieri gave every player a chance.

The thing is, with Ranieri giving everyone a chance, the players didn't need to work very hard because they knew that sooner or later they would be on that pitch! With Mourinho, the beat is different! His attitude is: you don't wanna work harder? Bench! There's always another player hungry for that place! Oh, and have you noticed how small the squad is? That's the difference between Ranieri and Mourinho!
At the moment, the only manager i would classify 'as good as' Mourinho, is Benitez... And we all know whitch one is better...

You still have a big squad. You had to loan out Bridge, Jarosik and Smertin to other premiership clubs. And you purchased Maniche when you have Essien as back up for Makelele.

It's a shame Saun Wright-Phillips is being wasted.

He wants to leave doesn't he? Maniche is a superb player, much better than Essien, that guy should be banned from the british ball... He'll get us in trouble one day, hear me! You forgot Tiago to Lyon...

Tiago. Oh yeah. Wasnt he the one that scored that scorcher against United at Old Trafford last season.

As for Essien. He's in the wrong sport. He should try his luck in martial arts.
