Forum Rules stickies suggestion

    Just wanted to point out that there are a few topics that don't have the forum rules sticky listed. It seems that there are more and more people not paying attention to them, so I just wanted to suggest adding it to the ones that don't have it might be a good idea, especially the audio and DVD ones.

    As of now, it is not in the following topics:

    Audio
    CD-RW Media
    High Resolution Audio
    DVD-R Media
    DVD Recorders
    Home Theatre PC
    Resource Center

    no my suggestion has nothing to do with bittorrents. it was a request to add the forum rules stickies to all topics located within the forum

    there must be somethig. all the bt sites get shut down.while p2p is running red hot.

    true, that sucks for bit torrent users, but what does that have to do with the forum rules stickies.

    i was just wonderig. i dont know all of the rule,but ive ben on a few forums and no one talks about it much.ive been ripping for quite sometime.found this site very helpful.all of my friends are using bt thats why i was surprised i didnt see anything.is this taboo or something

    bit torrents are allowed to be discussed, as long as no direct links are used, as I quote from rule number five:

    Case: Pirated material, such as serial numbers and direct links to pirated, copyrighted material (including direct links to torrent files and ed2k links). PROHIBITED

    Case: Technical, in depth discussion about copy protection circumvention (i.e. cracking). PROHIBITED

    Case: Discussion about pirated content and piracy, such as converting (downloaded) video and/or audio files to DVD/AudioCD/whatever format. PERMITTED

    Case: Discussion about copy protection circumvention in general (extracting encrypted content, such as DVD movies, compact discs, copy protected console and computer software, using existing software). PERMITTED

    Case: Links to sites offering possibly pirated content (including torrent files and ed2k links). PERMITTED

    I'm trying to add them but the ironic thing is after the first one I keep getting a message that I may have hit reply twice and I can't post it. How the hell do these idiot spammers manage to hit every forum within minutes but I can't add the rules?

    LOL. I guess there's still a few bugs to work out of the forum system, but at least its running much faster with the new servers. Can you change the title of the topic slightly? Like add exclamation points to it or something?

    go to my account, and click on edit personal information. There is info there on how to add text and pictures into your signature. you need to post your picture on a website though, try geocites for a free one.

    @Nephilim,

    I ran into that when I was adding forum rules to the MP3 Lizards forum.

    just create a new thread. then you can just edit it to how you want it.
