I am trying to ftp to my xbox using a crossover cable. I have done it before but the only way i got it to work was playing around with things and i don't remember what settings I used. I followed many tutorials and none of them worked so far. My computer is connected to the internet by this little wireless adapter that reads from a wireless router connected to a modem(I am not sure if this matters or not?)anyways these are my settings

    PC
    IP-192.168.2.2
    subnet mask-255.255.255.0
    default gateway-192.168.2.1

    Xbox
    IP-192.168.0.3
    subnet mask-255.255.255.0
    default gateway-192.168.2.2

im using flashfxp. COuld someone please help

    PC -keep the same
    IP-192.168.2.2
    subnet mask-255.255.255.0
    default gateway-192.168.2.1

Xbox -change IP Adrress & default Gateway
    IP-192.168.2.3
    subnet mask-255.255.255.0
    default gateway-192.168.2.1

try that, the IP address has to just be one number different, but can not be the same as the wireless adapter or any other wireless device you may have. If that IP does not work then try outhers in that range like 192.168.2.5 or 192.168.2.8
also make sure you enter the 2 DSN server numbers for your PC which you did not list.

also you have to know if the main connection is set up as static (where you would enter these settings manually) or DHCP where the PC would assign th IP Adrresss for the Xbox automatically.
Once you know that then you know how to set the Xbox
Static-YES for static and Static-NO for DHCP
