I have a modded xbox, xenium ice, and I am trying to copy a game from the DVD drive in the xbox to the pc so I can copy it back to my upgraded HD in my xbox. However my FTP client is not recognizing the xbox dvd drive. What are possible errors for this anyone?

It's either your FTP client or your dvd drive. Try wiping off your dvd drive with some alcohol and a soft cloth, and use another ftp client like WS FTP Pro.

When you try to see the contents of the D drive does it coe up with the contents of the C drive?
Mine does this quite often...It usually works after I change the xbox IP to some new random IP...no clue why ??

What dash are you using? Unleashed has a habit of doing this.

I am using evox and core ftp lite. It used to work with core ftp so I know the client is ok. Maybe I will try changing the IP like mentioned and try cleaning the DVD drive. However the drive does read and play regular games on it, so I don't know if it is really dirty. Any other ideas why this may happend if this don't work?

if you can see the files withinh ur C drive then it could be dirty disk or faulty dvd rom..if not the ones mentioned then it could be somthing else..
