Hi, Tried connecting via FTP but still cant get to grips with it! Used the following post: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2/201055 but still had no luck. I have a modded xbox, installed a xecuter 3ce chip but it has not been flashed with a bios yet or had a dash installed, have the downloaded on my pc but not transferred yet. (avalaunch and evo X) (got standard FlashBios 3.0.1 on chip) Do I need to have flashed my bios in order to connect? I currently connect to the net via a ethernet modem which is linked to a netgear hub. My xbox connects to xbox live fine this way and never had any probs, today bought a cross over lead and connected pc to xbox directly no hub etc, still didnt work. I put all the settings in from the link above as well. When I try and FTP i go to the normal MS screen on Xbox, put my settings into the network option, reboot and try and connect through FlashFXP on PC. Any help to pount me in the right direction would be appreciated, Thanks
Yes, you need your chip flashed before you can FTP in to your Xbox. Your X3 chip is useless as of right now... Check out this post, as it is practically the same thing.. http://minnwild.8.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=767
