It is best if you keep one memory card for playing PSO, and another for PSOLoad/ISO loading.

Each card will have it's own network settings, thus they won't conflict. It is also a safety precaution: Playing ISOs can corrupt your memory card. Much better that it corrupt a card that you don't care about than to corrupt your PSO card with hard earned charater stats and items.

About DVD burning: Out of curiosity, I tried it, I used a program that can make "Exact Copies" of dvd's, and tried it with a gc disc, it is a different format or something like someone already said. It got about 1/5th done and gave some funky error.
    ...
I was so happy when it started working, too.... haha

There are some games that work and others (most of the games), that don't work, obviously you found one of the not working games. In fact I didn't manage to stream one single game in a way that it's really playable.
Pro Ralley 2002 and F-Zero work but Pro Ralley has awfully long loading phases and F-Zero is very choppy. It's both more or less playable, buts it's no fun.

Hey wats up I was wondering how would you setup the PSOloader V2.0a .I have found this one GameCube iso streamer, but I can't seem to get PSOloader to save to one of my memory cards.I am assuming you would need two memory cards right to save PSOloader V2.0a to if you already have PSUL V1.1 saved to the memory card you are trying to use.I don't really want to change from PSUL V1.1 ,but is PSOloader V2.0a better than PSUL V1.1 or are they both pretty much the same. The program I am looking at is called Reliable NGC Disc streamer.I am not sure if anybody has used this, but I read that it will stream a game with no packet loss.I just wanted to test it out and see how good it was.I can initialize the PSOload -s option by placing PSOLoad.exe in my main harddrive with no folders by pressing this:

    PSOLoad -s

and then it brings up a screen that says waiting for connection, but I can't seem to get it to actually save.

I was wondering if I would have a better chance with PSOloader V2.0a or would PSUL V1.1 be better to use.I am still skeptical about which uploader to use for GameCube. If the PSUL V1.1 is better I will probably just buy another memory card, but if PSOloader V2.0a is better than I will probably just use this instead.I am not sure if this has been answered or not,but am hoping someone would give me a good answer and thanks in advance.

    Peace L-Burna

I figured out my own problem,it was the PSUL V1.1 on my memory card.I just deleted my saved file that had PSUL V1.1 on my memory card and then went back and saved the PSOloader V2.0a to my memory card.I will see what the program can do.

    Peace L-Burna

I haven't tried working with the Plus games, but here's what I hear you have to do.

Instead of 192.168.1.100, your PC is going to be set to a normal internet IP. If you have a static IP (it never changes) that's great, stick your static ip in there, hook up your gamecube to a router/hub with internet access, and point the gamecube to your static ip.

If you don't have a static ip, you have to get a dynamic host, such as the free ones at www.dyndns.org, and update your pc ip to dyndns.org, and then connect via your dyndns hostname (ie: gamecubing.kicks-ass.org).

As for the gamecube IP... I'd assume it would have to be something on the local side of your router... like 192.168.1.32 or 192.168.0.32, with your router set up as the gateway and dns server (This is all providing you have a router that supports all that).

All that said.. I'm not even sure if it works 100%, you might be better off finding an old copy of 1&2.

NTSC(american ) will work on a UK console, but only if the TV supports 60hz. Jap games will work on a UK system if the TV supports 60hz. Note: somethimes japanese games may require a PFF fix to run properly (ie paper mario 2)

I dont know who actucally discovered how to do this but it is really quite amazing. You have inspired me to go out and buy an adapter and that game tomorrow.

What I am more interested in than the game side of this is running "homebrew" apps on the game cube.

I am putting all these files on my website so that they are all at one place. After I finished I will paste the url unless theres any objections. I'll also create a community FTP so that anyone else can upload and download gamecube related utilities (Please dont try and send an ISO to the server or I will have to hit you).

    Thanks

    -Alex
