    Hi all.

I have done a lot of gamecube testing. I also have everything that you need for playing backups. (BBA, PSO, SD, AR) the nicest thing that i like is AR with memory card to load anaconda or GCOS. I have tested like 60 Backups on FULL size DVD-R 4,7 GB its working ok. There is only 1 problem.

Some Gamecube games have garbage sound in the game. Its enoying. Can anybody tell me howto get rid of the chobby sound in some gamecube ISO? Is the problem because of the releasers delete garbage files? Or is it the boot loader? I tested Mystic Heroes rip (which was 800 MB) i used gc creator to recreate the ISO its now 1.4 and it is booting! But it has nothing to do with the sound though. Can anybody tell me how to get the sound straight from some games? I have gcm wipe fixer 1.4 also but every ISO is like 3,3 GB and when i burn on FULL size dvdr it will give me garbage on the screen with GCOS.

SO i need some help with fixing sound on gamecube ISO's

    Thanks all.

mrunix: Simple question: You have ISOs, can you extract sound files from them (mp3 or common format)?

And about the mp3 question .. thats not what i mean

what i simple ask is ....

    1) how to fix gamecube isos that has garbage games when you load them with PSO or Anacondo or GCOS???

    2) tell me in details how to fix is. its not a big problem that an iso is becomming 3 gb or something ... i can play FULL size disks

Starcube = Gamecube's first name, that lately changed to Gamecube.
And now Starcube name is carrying GCSim makers.

IMHO this thread should have been closed after Icemonkey posted his guide and a seperate thread set up for questions and answers... It must have completely drifted off topic about 200 times by now.... unsubcribed!

    MAX DRIVE PRO

Found this out myself by trail and error. Just copied the GCOS 1.4 Gamecube operating system bios to the card and it said it wasn't a savestate but said it could convert it. Did that and popped the Max Drive in the Gamecube with the Max Drive Boot Disk. Chose the POS executable from the menu and ran it. Chose run back up game and it gave me 8 seconds to swap the disc for the back up! A window came up telling me the game and region. Hit A to auto detect PAL or NTSC and the back up ran perfectly! (Mario Party).

    You will require...

A Gamecube (mine is UK PAL)
Max Drive Pro (Must be Pro)
    Sony 8cm Mini-DVD (Handicam DVDs)
GCOS 1.4 Bios (Google for it)
A Gamecube Game RIP (Change to .ISO and burn in Nero (ISO and finalize).

    Cheers

Ok sorry to bother you. I got most everything working I got the starcube, or whatever the name of the thing paradox uses to load the games, to come up. When I press start to begin loading the game I get a black screen. Is this because it takes time to transfer the info over, or perhaps some games won't work? If there is a delay on the transfer about how long does it take to get to the point where the game loads? Thanks for your time!

I ripped like 10 games by using Gamecube Ripping sever 1.0.10.29 (something like that). Then I use gamecube Disk Server to load game image from PC. All 10 images works fine. Then I burn them into miniDVDr. Then I use psul Gcos1_4.dol to load backup miniDVDr. And only 3 games works fine. The rest gave TV Black sreen. I bought miniDVDr online for $1.00 each.
    Do you know Why?
Is that the brand of miniDVDr problem?

    Thank a lot.
