Rotary: I did as you said, and it says .avi as it's extension, as it did before, ever since I reconverted to windows Media Player. It also says "Windows Movie" as well. bb: I will redownload Package 2 tomorrow or the next day-I have to cut of this session for now. However that is the package that I already downloaded, so I don't know if it will owrk this time. But I will try. If none of this works, is thee a Plan B for free codecs installing in Nero?
