As of yesterday when I try to open Decryptor, I get this message:

    Device Authentication Failed!
    DeviceL (3:1:0) AOPEN DUW1608/ARR A060 (F:) (ATA)
    Reason: Failed to get Varient
Key 1: FD FD FD FD FD

    I don't think I did anything different.

Does anyone know what to do? I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling.

how far do you get on ripping with decrypter, because it seems to be ripping pretty well...so far but...THE HORROR. does it "error-on-you" right away?

Up until yesterday, it worked fine. Then I tried to backup Chicago and it got to certain sectors and it failed.

Ever since, this message comes up as soon as I open Decryptor

try completely uninstalling decrypter, defragment your computer then restart it. downloading the new dvd decrypter and see if it works. hopefully this would clear up any errors your computer has with dvd decrypter.

Reinstall Decrypter and then make sure there is no media in your drive. Then open Decrypter and see if you get the same message?
