    Sooner or later VM will finish off the starview boxes. Even if they cannot incorporate a second layer of encryption with the current boxes there will be a tipping point where it will cost less to develop a new STB than continue as they are. It would be my guess that they have already passed that point.

    hey please can u help me,iam not a tech guy i have got eurovox pvr5000,just last week,and it stopped working can u please guide me how to start get it working,please,iam trying hard for last few days and no one is ready to help

    Jeeeeesusss! Read the damn posts! Its there in black and white ... just a few posts above mine.....99% of people here are not "tech guys". Thanks to some people talking about keys etc. this thread will probably be closed by creaky (the pounding skeleton).

    It will now, as i see we've had some hafwits join the thread posting things that shouldn't be here.

    There's more to life that (unpaid-for) TV..

    (p.s.by halfwits i don't refer to people who are non-techy, i mean those in society who want everything for free, life's spongers)
