Today I install Ultimate Pinball (note its not the gold version). When I go to run the program the table selection screen comes up. I can choose a table and it will start to load. Sometime during the time when please wait its loading is displayed on the screen I get the following error.

The instruction at 00404568 referenced memory at 01cd6052
The memory could not be written

The installer didn't indicate that there was any problems. I tried uninstalling and installing without any problems but it still doesn't run.

I am running Windows XP Home. I used the compadibility wizard without success. Its a older game that I never installed on my new computer.

I'd be greatful for any help you could offer.

I have the same problem on the exact same game. I am also running XP Home. My error message is very similair.

I have tried all of the mentioned remedies and played around with trying to get it to work myself, but I just can't get it to work
